(Placeholder) Common interest or function across the state.
There are a multitude of Veteran Service Organizations, or VSOs, out there, most of whom provide great service to our military and veteran communities. The availability of services and eligibility criteria can sometimes be overwhelming and vary from town to town.
Some VSOs specialize in non-specialization. These organizations support veterans in a multitude of ways, most fundamentally, knowing what's out there and how to get it. They are veteran led and committed to support of veterans in their local community. In order to be listed on the MVPN site, they are verified and vetted for having a mission focus on veterans serving veterans and thier families and in general, are the best of the best. They provide a great opportunity to engaging with the military community where you live and either finding what you need, helping someone else, or just enjoying the comaraderie that only those of us who have served can know.
These are special issue committees comprised of MVPN Coordinators. Their purpose is to facilitate discussion and provide suggestions and guidance for their particular focus area of MVPN structure, administration and best practices. Please direct any interest in the MVPN Texas Committees to Sean Hanna at firstname.lastname@example.org.
