Good day, MVPN Platform Registrants!

The Texas Veterans Commission’s (TVC) Veterans Mental Health Program (VMHP) is happy to announce that it will be relaunching the MVPN platform,, in the coming weeks.  The VMHP has refined its scope and focus. Therefore, this change is a much needed reinvention of the existing platform.

What does this mean for current platform registrants?  It means that there will some changes:

  • The look and feel of the platform will change
  • Your profile should be updated by you as much as possible to assist with this transition
  • MVPN Peer Service Coordinators and SMVF Peers will have a dedicated platform site
  • A newly created Provider section will allow folks who provide mental health services to the SMVF community will have their own dedicated platform site

These changes will foster interactive communications for peers to talk with other peers while offering opportunity for providers to talk with other providers.

If you registered as a Community Organization or Community Individual, we will no longer be able to offer you space on the platform. Instead, we strongly encourage you to register with TexVet, our partner organization for community-based resource referrals. TexVet can be reached here:

Watch for additional information in the coming days.

Thanks and we are looking forward to this transformation!

Your VMHP Team
